We are going to use a different format this year.

In the past, I hosted a livestream with recorded interviews. It was a fun way to interact with the community live and kind of have a group experience of enjoying the video interviews together.

Last year's event was a record-setting endurance run for me - the live stream was over 12 hrs. Well, the event has grown from 4 participants to about 15, and I don't think I am up for 16+ hrs of livestreaming LOL.

So this year we will prerecord the podcast interviews ahead of time and release them either on Mayday or the days leading up to it (TBD). This way, the community can watch the interviews in any order and don't have to wait to match their schedules.

I think I will still be doing a live stream on Mayday - but it will mainly be a panel discussion and sponsored prize giveaway running about 2 hours or so.

I hope this new format works out going forward.

Cat's In The Cradle Mode 2 | Moderate Complexity | No Experience Necessary
Three Gionetti-class cruisers encounter a sextet of Elsyel-class destroyers on the frontier, after the Aslan ships had been raiding Imperial shipping. Having the advantage, and the Elsyels low on hydrogen to escape via Jump, the Imperials pressed the attack. This is an introductory scenario using the Traveller ships for Squadron Strike. You'll learn the ASCBI user interface, and all the rules needed to play.

The Only Thing To Dread Is Dread Itself Mode 2 | Simple Ships | No Experience Necessary
Phobos-class cruisers in the service of Chancellor Wung Jian of Callisto are en route to Amalthea to...persuade...the power-beaming station there to not support the Europan forces. In their way? A fleet of Tychos and Shackleton-ps. Both have used their magnetic sails to brake against Jupiter's magnetic field, and they're at the merge! This is an introductory scenario using the Newton's Cradle ships for Squadron Strike. You'll learn the ASCBI user interface, and all the rules needed to play.
