What: The Traveller Mayday Mayday event is a virtual gaming convention that takes place on May 1st (May Day). It is a day for honoring the history and future of the Traveller sci-fi role-playing game including all its editions and spin-offs.

You can even have more time for your game; play longer than the traditional 4-hour block if you want to.
BUT, players should be aware of overlapping game times when they choose which games they want to play.

Come and watch the Third Annual Charity Traveller game benefiting The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation.
Join referee Patrick Kanouse and his players from Two Brothers Gaming, High Shelf Collective, and The Death Die Club. They will be playing Prison Planet.
Our intrepid adventurers have found themselves afoul of the law and are imprisoned at the Imperial prison Tarkwall on the planet of Keanou. Can they escape? Will the prison’s mines, gangs, or planet’s hostile environment spell their doom?
The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation’s mission is to increase awareness and educate the general public and healthcare professionals regarding carcinoid and related neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), to support NET cancer patients and their families, and to serve as patient advocates. We’ll be giving away a bunch of things, and you can even have an effect on the game.
The game will stream on the High Shelf Collective Twitch channel at 8:00 pm Eastern (6:00 pm Mountain). The game will include giveaways and opportunities to influence the game.

Ad Astra Games will be giving a demonstration of their Squadron Strike 3D online Traveller starship combat simulator at the Ad Astra Discord Server.
Fly your ship on a 3D map, plot your course, fire your weapons, and see the position of the ships at the end of each turn.
Reminiscent of the classic Starfleet battles, but computerized, in 3D, and with Traveller ships and weapons.
Squadron Strike is a turn-based, 3D space combat simulator that runs right in your browser.
Design any ship from any setting and fight in a 3D virtual space that conveys ship position and heading.

So here's the challenge:
Come up with a Traveller-themed poem, joke, song, limerick, riddle, or (very) short story and present it to us on Mayday.
Show us your infectious good humor and help us make sure people are having fun!
Entries will be judged by a panel of judges and the winner will get a prize for their efforts.
